Mountains of Miles Terms and Conditions:
The Mountains of Miles promotion is valid only for WorldPerks® members whose WorldPerks mailing address is in the 50 United States or Canada.
To participate in this promotion, you must subscribe to NWA E-mail to receive valuable e-mails from Northwest Airlines.
This offer is not retroactive. WorldPerks members must register at nwa.com for this promotion prior to any qualifying activity but not later than December 31, 2008. The WorldPerks account number registered for the promotion must be used when completing any qualifying activities for points. Qualifying activity must occur after registration and be completed by January 31, 2009.
Members must use registered account number on qualifying trip and earn WorldPerks miles to earn flight travel activity points. Bonus Miles are in addition to your regular credited flight miles, Elite tier Bonus Miles, and miles offered by WorldPerks partners. Bonus Miles from this promotion do not count toward Elite status qualification.

Earn points for travel. Registration is required prior to ticketing. Qualifying travel (roundtrip or one-way) must be on a paid, published fare ticket on Northwest-operated flights 1-1799, Northwest flights 1800-2099 operated by Compass Airlines, Northwest flights 2700-2799 and 3000-3699 operated by Mesaba Airlines, Northwest flights 2800-2999, 3700-3799, 4700-4799 and 5600-5999 operated by Pinnacle Airlines (before November 2, 2008) and Northwest flights 2100-2699 and 2800-2999 (as of November 2, 2008), Northwest flights 8200-8849 operated by KLM Royal Dutch Airlines or KLM-operated flights 1000-1999. If part of your itinerary is on another airline, your travel on Northwest or KLM will not qualify for this promotion. One-way travel will be eligible for 50% of the roundtrip points indicated on the 'Qualifying Activities' table. Qualifying flights with multiple booking classes per one-way flight will earn points based on the booking class of the longest segment of each one-way flight. Any qualifying roundtrip that commences prior to January 31, 2009, with a return date outside of the promotion period will be awarded 50% of the roundtrip points. Points earned from travel vary by booking class, as determined by the 'Qualifying Activities' table. Make travel reservations at nwa.com and fly. Flight reservations booked and ticketed for paid or award travel using nwa.com qualify for points. Reservations must be booked, tickets purchased and flights traveled after registration in this promotion but no later than
January 31, 2009 to qualify. Each confirmation number represents one reservation, regardless of the number of people on the reservation. Only flight reservations made on nwa.com and flown by the WorldPerks member registered for this promotion qualify for points. You must have a United States or Canada mailing address to book award travel reservations on nwa.com.
Check in for your flights at nwa.com. nwa.com check-in transactions completed after registration in the promotion and before January 31, 2009 qualify for points, including check-ins for flight reservations made prior to promotion. Checking in at nwa.com for paid or award travel reservations qualifies. Points will be awarded only once for each one-way trip up to a maximum of 100 check-ins per WorldPerks member. If check-in is not completed online for any reason, points will not be awarded.
Check in on nwa.com from your mobile device. Check in on nwa.com from your mobile device, including most web-based cell phones and PDAs. nwa.com mobile check-in transactions completed after registration in the promotion and before January 31, 2009 qualify for points, including check-ins for flight reservations made prior to promotion. Checking in from your mobile device for paid or award travel reservations qualifies. Points will be awarded for each one-way trip up to a maximum of 100 check-ins per WorldPerks member. If mobile check-in is not completed for any reason, points will not be awarded.
JOIN
Enroll in the WorldPerks program. WorldPerks enrollment must be completed by
December 31, 2008. Membership is at the sole discretion of WorldPerks. Individuals already enrolled in the WorldPerks program do not qualify for the 10 point bonus. Points will be awarded to new members with a WorldPerks enrollment date between September 1 and December 31, 2008 only.
Purchase WorldClubs® membership. Points for WorldClubs membership will only be awarded for new three-year or new one-year WorldClubs memberships. Lifetime and spouse memberships are not eligible for points. WorldClubs membership renewals do not qualify for points. A maximum of one new three-year or one-year WorldClubs memberships per WorldPerks account qualifies for points. Membership in WorldClubs is open to all persons age 21 or older. Guests under 21 must be accompanied by an adult. Membership fees are non-refundable, and memberships are non-transferable.
CHOOSE
Sign up for a new WorldPerks® Visa® Signature, Platinum or Business Card. Points for signing up for the WorldPerks Visa Card will be awarded only to a new WorldPerks Visa Card account (Signature/Platinum/Business). Existing and previous Cardmembers do not qualify. All other WorldPerks Visa Cards do not count as a qualifying activity. One qualifying activity per credit card account (as defined by a unique card number) will be awarded Bonus Miles. Only WorldPerks members whose mailing address is in the 50 United States are eligible to sign up for the WorldPerks Visa Card. The creditor and issuer of the WorldPerks Visa Credit Card is U.S. Bank National Association ND. The WorldPerks Visa applications must be submitted and approved after promotion registration but no later than January 31, 2009. Applications submitted but not approved do not qualify for Bonus Miles. WorldPerks will use the approval date received from the partner (as indicated by the transaction date used when posting Enrollment Bonus Miles to a WorldPerks account) to determine if the application was approved within the promotional period. Bonus Miles earned are in addition to any Partner Enrollment Bonus Miles.
Purchase an NWA WorldVacations® Luxury package. Purchase an NWA WorldVacations Luxury package from the LIFESTYLE Collection by January 15, 2009 and complete travel by January 31, 2009 to qualify for points. NWA WorldVacations package must be purchased via nwaworldvacations.com, through WorldVacations at 1-866-238-5378, or through your travel agent, and is not valid if purchased through Northwest Airlines. MLT Vacations Inc. must issue all airline tickets. Points earned from the air portion of package vary, as determined by the 'Qualifying Activities' table and are in addition to the 30 points earned from the package purchase. NWA WorldVacations programs and availability may vary and blackout dates may apply.
Purchase an NWA WorldVacations package. Purchase an NWA WorldVacations package by January 15, 2009 and complete travel by January 31, 2009 to qualify for points. NWA WorldVacations package must be purchased via nwaworldvacations.com, through WorldVacations at 1-800-800-1504, or through your travel agent, and is not valid if purchased through Northwest Airlines. MLT Vacations Inc. must issue all airline tickets. Points earned from the air portion of package vary, as determined by the 'Qualifying Activities' table and are in addition to the 15 points earned from the package purchase. Create an nwa.com Gift Registry. Points for opening an NWA Gift Registry account will be awarded after account has been opened and a minimum contribution of $25 has been posted to registry. Contributions made by registrant or co-registrant are not eligible. Eligibility is for primary registrant only. Co-registrant is not eligible for this offer. Points will be awarded only once per WorldPerks account. Registration in the promotion is required prior to opening a Gift Registry. nwa.com Gift Registry is open to WorldPerks members residing in the 50 United States only.
Stay with hotel partner / rent from car rental partner. To receive points with participating WorldPerks hotel and/or car rental partners, member must earn WorldPerks miles for each hotel stay or for each car rental. Members must choose WorldPerks miles as preferred earning alliance in hotel or car rental programs that require membership prior to check-in to automatically earn miles. Minimum two (2) day car rental required in order to qualify. All qualifying hotel stays and car rentals must be after registration and during the promotional period. Northwest will use the transaction date received from the hotel or car rental partner to determine if the transaction qualifies. Hotel loyalty points converted to WorldPerks miles do not qualify for Bonus Miles. Northwest is not responsible for partner posting delays. All participating partners' program terms and conditions apply. Points will only be awarded for the first 100 hotel stays and the first 100 2-day car rentals per WorldPerks member.
This offer may not be combined with any other major offers or activities. Only those activities included in the 'Qualifying Activities' table qualify for points. Members are not eligible to qualify for multiple WorldPerks flight offers with the same roundtrip.
Each WorldPerks member can earn a maximum of 100,000 Bonus Miles during this promotion. Bonus Miles determined to have been earned in error, will be revoked. Posting of awarded miles is the responsibility of Northwest Airlines.
Northwest Airlines is not responsible for any malfunctions associated with the web registration process that result in late registration or incomplete information. Northwest Airlines prohibits any automated systems and/or users from accessing our system with the intention of enrolling multiple members into the WorldPerks program and/or registering members for promotional offerings. Flight Allowance - NWA Electronic Credit Voucher (ECV)
Travel is permitted on any NW/KL designated flights. This includes flights operated by Northwest Airlink and/or NW/KL Affiliate Partners. Other carriers must be ticketed separately at applicable fare, and this ECV has no applicability thereto.
Northwest Airlines, KLM and travel agents may make reservations or issue tickets on NW 012 or KL 074 ticket stock against a paper TCV redeemed as Dollar Amount TCV. TCV may only be redeemed on nwa.com or by a Northwest reservations or ticketing location.
Reservations must be made per the applicable fare rule.
This ECV document is not transferable. An ECV may be used by a different person as long as the original recipient is traveling with that person in the same reservation. An ECV may only be used by one person in a Reservation.
ECV may only be used toward the total purchase price of air transportation, including taxes, fees, and surcharges imposed on the air transportation.
This ECV may not be combined with any other ECV/TCV(s). This ECV may be combined with a wholly unused ticket to purchase a new ticket provided the name on the ECV and the name on the wholly unused ticket are the same.
If the value of an ECV is greater than the transportation purchased, the remaining value will be stored in our electronic database and may be used for the purchase of a future ticket. If the value of a TCV is greater than the transportation purchased, a nonrefundable/nontransferable Miscellaneous Charges Order (MCO) valid for travel on any NW/KL designated flights will be issued for the difference between the ticket price and the value of the discount indicated on the TCV. MCO will be issued in the name of the person specified on the original TCV.
This ECV may be applied toward the NWA air portion of an air/land ECV/TCV package.
This ECV may not be honored when purchasing Prepaid Tickets, gift certificates or excess baggage charges, payments on account and/or ECV programs.

Hotel Allowance - Certificate
Blackout dates: 2009: April 9, 10; May 22, 25; July 3, 6; September 4, 7; November 25, 29; December 23, 24, 27, 30, 31. 2010: January 3; February 12, 15; April 1, 2, 5.
Certificate will be issued 6-8 weeks after completion of promotion.
Hotel reservations must be made within 11 months of the date on certificate. Travel must be completed within 12 months of the date on the certificate.
Voucher valid for any destination served by NWA WorldVacations.
Any unused portion of hotel allowance will not be refunded, and cannot be used towards another hotel stay.
If booking exceeds allowance, recipient is responsible for any balance due and must be paid in full at time of booking.
Changes to reservations, once made, are not permitted.
