- PerkSaverSM Award: Subject to a Saturday-night stay (for domestic flights), capacity controls and airline partner blackout dates. Northwest does not have blackout dates, however, some of our airline partners do. View a listing of partner blackout dates.
- PerkPassSM Award: Waives Saturday-night stay requirement, blackout dates and most capacity controls. PerkPass Award option is available on Northwest-, Continental- and KLM-operated flights, as well as select flights on Hawaiian Airlines and Gulfstream International.
- Mileage Upgrade Award: One-way, one-class upgrade.

Award Price Exceptions
1 Flights within or between Caribbean and Mexico on Delta Air Lines require 30,000 miles for Coach class and 60,000 miles for BusinessElite.
2 Flights between Caribbean & Mexico and Central America on Delta Air Lines require 35,000 miles for Coach class and 50,000 miles for BusinessElite.
3 Flights between Caribbean & Mexico and Northern South America on Delta Air Lines require 35,000 miles for Coach class and 70,000 miles for BusinessElite.
4 Flights between Caribbean & Mexico and Southern South America on Delta Air Lines require 50,000 miles for Coach class and 90,000 miles for BusinessElite.
5Any interisland connection to Hawaiian Airlines to/from Caribbean/Mexico will require an additional 10,000 miles for a coach PerkSaver Award or 20,000 miles for a coach PerkPass Award.

Award Categories
- Roundtrip Award Ticket: The chart details the amount of mileage required for roundtrip PerkSaver and PerkPass award travel. A PerkSaver Award and PerkPass Award may be combined to include a roundtrip combination of PerkSaver Awards and PerkPass Awards. For example, a roundtrip award may include an outbound PerkSaver Award flight and a PerkPass Award return flight. Award travel must be booked in a roundtrip itinerary.
- One-Way Mileage Upgrades: The miles required for one-way mileage upgrades is based on the paid fare class. Upgrades are valid on Northwest-, Continental- and KLM-operated flights only. Fares that qualify for upgrades are subject to change. To ensure eligibility for upgrades, check the fare rules before purchase.
